Papervision3D was a popular open-source 3D engine for Flash platform developed in the mid-2000s. It allowed developers to create interactive 3D environments and animations for web applications and games. The engine was written in ActionScript 3.0, the programming language used in Flash and Flex applications.
The important thing about Papervision (including the last version before the engine was discontinued ver. 2.1.932) is that all of the 3D elements are rendered via software rasterization, it doesn't use Stage3D. It makes it a lot easier to program with without worrying about Ruffle compatibilities.

Todo:
Look into Ruffle Events for AS3 compared to AS2, as I didn't get this problem when downgrading from as3 frameworks to as2. Primarily Pixlib and boruens lib
