BETA DEMO

This is an early version of a web-playable build of Polyfury. There are several known issues:

  • Loading sucks, I know - I'm really sorry 🫠
  • The first time a laser fires, there's a good second of lag. I have no idea what's causing this, it's probably WebGL being WebGL. I'm looking into it.


Please comment below if you find any issues, I have not tested this particularly extensively on web.

The game is nice and all. Enemies are hard but not unfair, which is nice. All this kind of games should have a toggle auto-fire, good to see it here :) (me happy). A thing that did bother me, I was killed after the enemy died... so....
Also, does remaining live count as a multiplier of some sort? Because I got lower score in a faster hit-less run than in one that barely made it through.

Ah which one did you get hit after the enemy died on? It's possibly one of two bugs that have been found over the last few days.

Remaining lives are not a multiplier - but if you collect an extra life (big blue circle) when you haven't lost any lives, you get a big point bonus. You also get a bonus for every bullet on the screen when the enemy dies. The points spawn at a much faster rate for a second or so after you come close to being hit by a bullet/laser, and your point multiplayer decays rapidly when it's at 32x - all of which probably contributed to you getting a lower score in a faster hit-less run!
