Actual Crit:

Pros: Almost everything about it. You easily made the viewer empathize with the character, alone, drawing friends on his finger, stuck in a land of the liminal.

Cons: I would have preferred if the texture in the opening wasn't so intrusive and repetitive, as that could make some viewers look away, and you switch from wavering line to a scratchy one at times; however, that's it.

Too abstract for me to wrap my head around, but I certainly felt SOMETHING watching this. What a talented creator!

Wow, this was a great animation. Excellent portrayal of a young man growing up - the emptiness, the fear, the sadness, and the excitement of a new chapter. Great detail and sketchbook style throughout the film. Well done!

How does have such a low rating! This is amazing! Abstract and I like it. I do wish the music was a little more acoustic but that's just personal taste. Maybe some don't like the filter in the background, but I think it gives a nostalgic, yet uneasy feel, and seeing it get more and more intense over the video had me staring into the black background loosing my mind in a good way :) The name "Reverie" 's very lyric and floral as well. It means dream in French if you're wondering.
