Funny little test of a concept, simple yet could easily become a much larger game if you so wanted. Well done.
You had just gotten your platformer character home when a glitch caused it to be sent back to start and become separated from all its controls except for the left arrow. Go get your controls back!
This is a short game made for GDevelop Jam 3, Separation. Downloadable versions are available for PC, Mac and Linux here: https://kobato-games.itch.io/get-your-controls-back
Note: Possible music glitch showed up on my first preview of the game. Music played in the menu, but not the main game until a refresh. Never replicated it, so hoping it was a first play-through glitch.

Thanks. I actually do have plans on making a longer version of this concept at some point. Glad you enjoyed the game.
Nice atmosphere and music.
So I walked underwater to crouch and grab the axe. Walked back and cracked open that blue crate thing. Jumped up on top of the hill to my left. And then fell out of the game... nothing but beige screen.
Thank you. Just uploaded a fixed version. Fortunately it was a minor issue -- just set the invisible barrier too low. Most of my commenters here ran into the same glitch, yet when I uploaded it on itch.io about a month ago no one noticed. I guess Newgrounds users jump higher :)
Very small actually. Also, it's possible to jump from the screen if you jump to the left a lot
Thank you for letting me. I figured out what is up and will have it fixed soon.
nice game
found a glitch where i could fall through the map (just jump above the secret opening and you'll fall)
Thank you so so much for catching that. Just found what you mean -- that you can jump on top of the tunnel. Guess the secret entrance was really a secret exit XD. I'll tweak the barrier and get it reuploaded as soon as I have a few minutes.
1. Another case of Kevin McLeod/Royalty free asset spam. Also nothing is cohesive together, like the triangle guy is flat like some character made by Kenney and then the tiles are semi-realistic, the background and house are also both different artstyles. Even the font looks out of place.
2. It lasts only 2 minutes and I can prolly speedrun it under 30 seconds.
3. I immediately recognised the music. It's from opengameart.org and I literally used it in one of my games, good taste there, but only for the main menu. It's very unfitting for your game TBH.
4. It's so basic, insultingly simple even. It's the easiest puzzle game I've ever played in my entire life and that's both for NG and Itch.io.
1X. Also I checked the jams you sent your thingy to to make sure I wouldn't be an asshat about it (Some jams FORCE you to use premade assets afterall like the opengameart.org jam last year) and it turns out infact that you could create your own assets and use them. There's no excuse for this game being this stinky and lazy.
2X. The premise isn't even that bad, it's a platformer with puzzle elements, it's not something I see often. If it was longer than 2 minutes and spanned more levels (Which you had the opportunity to add) then I'd be nicer to this because there was an attempt, but nah cringe m8.
Since it's such an asset flip that's unfinished, I'm giving it 1 star. You shouldn't upload prototypes online.
