Reminds me of ancient PC games, honestly. For what it is, absolutely fun.
Turn-based strategy/tactics/management game we created in 72 hours for the Ludum Dare 50 game jam. The theme was "delay the inevitable". We went with the topic of wildlife extinction and conservation - surely an apt example of delaying the inevitable.
We never quite got around to making a more advanced postjam version of this game, so the gameplay isn't super balanced or completely polished, but we hope you still have fun with it! The best way of winning the game is to hire Rangers and use them to direct/restrict the movement of Poachers. There are other features, but they're a little underpowered compared to the Rangers in this build.
You can find more info and detailed tips on the itch.io page. The fullscreen play option should also solve any resolution issues you might have here...

This game is pretty cool, and it shows what species that are at risk may go through every day. This game has a deeper meaning to it that it seems. Keep it up!
