RPG Maker MV engine games seem to not work correctly on mobile browsers. Unfortunately, I do not have the time nor the experience to fix this anytime soon, if ever, especially if the only fix is to make dedicated mobile builds and upload on the Google Play Store (Appleās App Store is a complex non-starter). Playing on PC with a gamepad is recommended.
All assets are the default RPGMakerMV assets, but I took the extra time to edit the spritesheets in Paint.Net (a Photoshop-like photo editor) and make them look more "3D" with the Relief and Emboss filters. I also used the Stroke filter in G'Mic to give the characters black outlines and make them easier and more striking to see. If this is received well-enough, I may make a "remastered" version of ButtChrono with pre-rendered 3D assets made in Blender.
I hope you enjoy this little project from an animator who just REALLY wanted to make a proper game for the Game Portal at some point! This was honestly a bucket list thing, but I had way more fun than I thought I would making this game and I would like to know if you want me to continue working on this "ButtChrono" universe--maybe even create original pre-rendered assets in Blender and greatly expand this for the next couple of years into a commercial Steam game if you think it has potential! For now, though, I'm happy I finally became one of those people who made a short game rather than just talk about making one! Have fun!
