No More Plagues is a 2D platform single player video game in which you will enter a dark castle and overcome traps and monsters to face the final boss.
The continent is being invaded by a plague of demons. The town of a proud knight is in danger and he has decided to end the source of the problem that manifests as an abominable being.

It is ok, but needs some refinement.
The movement in general is very sluggish it feels like there is a delay between pressing a button and the character reacting.
Also that the player starts moving so slowly but speeds up fast makes precise controlling very hard.
Even though the levels are short, the instant death mechanics make one or two checkpoints per level a very welcome addition.
Can the ghosts be killed or are they meant as an obstacle to be avoided?
If so please consider making their sprite smaller so you can feasibly jump over them.
What do the Bars in the top right corner mean?
I kinda like it but it is to frustrating for me to invest much time into.

Need some adjustments. The swing takes so long that you get hit by the flying flames. Monsters are predictable and always walking towards you. Just stand in place, kill them, and then move on. And how about some checkpoints. Restarting every time destroys this game for me.
The attack range feels way to close and the crouching animation leaves you vulnerable for way too long. The music is odd, but the art and idea are decent.
I just feel like more playtesting could have helped develop the mechanics
