I was commissioned by music label Juan Forté to make an animated retro gaming inspired promo video. It was made for an upcoming 12" vinyl release by AKCEPT.

Original characters by Charles Sinclair ( www.instagram.com/chas.artist ). My task was to translate characters into my own pixel art style, make new drawings and animate them according to provided script. This was my third time using Aseprite for drawings, but I still used After Effects for assembling and additional animation effects. The resolution mimics Sega Megadrive/Genesis resolution + additional width for the 16:9 aspect ratio. The color palette is custom made and mix between already established colors from previous animations and color accents inspired from current original artwork sleeves.

This is my 5th animation I made for them and I'm also enjoying records that come out of this label. Their releases sell out in minutes and I'm really proud owner of copies of which I've taken a part.
