If that's her making art, imagine if you made her mad lol. Really well animated and also a cute character design. Keep up the good work. :)
Behind the Scene
Inspiration
I got the idea from watching this on twitter.
The layout
Kinda a mess to look at but honestly it was simple.
Just some up front props to work with and a painted background.
The background objects were just transparent little props
nothing too detailed, because they were gonna get blured anyway.
Props
Dont ask why the textures for the buckets are higher res then the canvas, I don't know, Imma just assume I messed up when laying out the UVs (me have smol brain).
Animation
I did my normal thing for most of the animation, move bit by bit and make sure all the timing stuff looks nice. The challenge was actually making strong poses, so to solve that I just used the annotation tool. Not gonna lie, will likely just use a grease pencil layer in the future because It was a bitch trying to line up annotation with the current frame I was working. Basically the annotation would be on frame 15 but I was working on frame 10, so it wouldn't show up. A "me problem" if you will
Eyes
Really don't know why it took me this long to animate her eyes this way, much easier. A simple transparent image sequence of all her expressions and then just having blender go through them when needed. Came out really good and added a lot more character. Hope in the future I figure something out with their mouths.
Sound Design
The sounds were put together by CDTE, really added that Half-life 2 charm everything needs. (check out his stuff)
