Bloody magnificent

Goddamn that audio design. The camera shake is a bit much though and it is sometimes hard to see what is happening. The ending was unexpected and funny too.

Nice

This is the most film-like SFM I have EVER seen! I love the small details such as being able to hear Sniper’s shots echoing. That’s a nice little thing that adds a lot. This was very professionally made. Great job! I loved it. Welcome to Newgrounds!

Mariotravel209 responds:

Thank you so much! Glad you loved it! :)

Too much shakycam, hides more than it shows. That explosion seemed to come out of nowhere, a shot that more concretely defined what exploded would be welcome. Kind of expected some payoff with the Spy in the beginning and the phrase "Is that you?", that seemed like obvious signposting for some more up-close-and-personal action.
Goons could be a little more logically posted in the climax, standing around looking in all directions on a dark bit of road is dramatic for the van crashing through the fence but why were they there at all? Some chatter between them or just a defined protocol they were following would make them look less like a set-piece, even if they were just locking down warehouse doors.
Pacing was generally good but I felt like it ramped up into explosions and shooting a little fast and could have explored more of the breaking and entry, but that's just a personal thing. Mixing actual game voice audio with the voice acting might not have been the best choice. The actors do a good job but they still aren't exactly the same and the difference pulls me out of it. All in all I liked it as a bit of action drama, but I think more thought should be given in future to how the shots inform the audience and how the logic of the characters should create scenes.

Mariotravel209 responds:

Thanks a lot for the feedback! This is all valuable input and I'll be sure to take these into consideration for future projects. :)
