don't do random damage in the released game, unless there is a certain attack that is made to be random, but i assume you're just doing random damage for the test.

Hello! I know it has been a long time since I've done anything at all on this site, but I guess now is a good time. This isn't really a game, it's more of a test to try a RPG combat system. It is sort of buggy, but it is functional.
--CONTROLS--
CLICK FIGHT, DEFENCE, OR ESCAPE. (TEAM does nothing)
WHEN YOUR HEALTH IS 0, YOU LOSE. WHEN THE ENEMY'S HEALTH IS 0, THEY LOSE.
IF YOUR SCREEN SAYS GAME OVER, OR WOW WHAT A CHICKEN, PRESS ENTER

I think the random damage is the enemy attacks, in that case then i understand why you think they are random.

what is laggy about it? is it the attacks? if so, then that is because i couldn't get the timing right.
