October 29th update:
Multiplayer version is ONLINE!!

Tactics Core is a 100% Flash based game engine for developing Strategy RPGs in Flash. I've created a demo game to show what it can do. You'll find it quite challenging at first, but once you figure out how all the units attack, it'll be much easier. Also, if you're lucky, the most powerful unit, Daemon, might appear on your team! Visit www.digisonline.com for more info!

Thanks all for your feedback =)
As most of you have noticed, I incorporated the turn queueing system from FFT, however the battle system is more reminiscent of DK4, where you acquire many distinct units, each of which has only one specific function to make it easier to learn for a Flash game.

I have exceeded the bandwidth limit on my server so this demo is hosted on Newgrounds now, and the instructions will no longer show while it is loading.

Once again, Thank you Newgrounds =)

Es un tanto confuso pero es buen juego

really fun game, would make for an interesting 2player game if you had the same characters, a lot like chess. what would really be interesting is say you had 100+ characters each assigned a point value based on how powerful they are, then

make sure you kill their blue mage with red staff early, he will inflict the most overall damage to your team

make sure you kill their healer early he will make finishing off enemies very difficult

Just when I thought I was going to lose for sure one match, I was down to just my healer... a surprise happened and I killed the other 4 players with one guy left! So the tip is try to make your last player alive your healer. If you can manage that, you have a great chance of winning.

The game is hard, not because of the AI.
You will mostly end up killing your own teammates.

its a great game just it makes no sense you can kill your own team i mean it gets really confusing

Great game. Too bad on their website, you have to fight other players, and not the CPU. Playing the game is dependent on the game's popularity.
