CONTROLS:

USE 'WASD' TO MOVE

USE 'RIGHT MOUSE CLICK' WHILE MOVING TO DASH IN THAT DIRECTION

- use dashes to move extremely fast, fling yourself across the level, close the distance between enemies, and dodge attacks.

- dash diagonally towards and around enemies rather than straight at them to avoid getting shot in the face.

- dashes have a very short cool-down so make sure to use them often.

USE 'LEFT MOUSE CLICK' TO ATTACK / SHOOT

- you are the wielder of an extremely powerful cursed relic. one swipe of your blade can reduce a regular human into a red paste.

- by facing an incoming bullet and attacking at moment right before it hits you, your sword can deflect them back at enemies.

- attacks have a small cool down so make sure you time them well or you may leave yourself vulnerable to a counterattack.

- when holding a gun, the attack button causes you to shoot instead.

USE 'SPACE' TO PICKUP / DROP GUNS

- enemies may drop guns on the floor that you can pick up and use.

- ammo is limited and there are no reloads, once the weapon is out of rounds you will automatically drop it.

- use guns to quickly get kills or take out ranged enemies but be aware that holding a gun means you cannot

use your sword and are unable to deflect bullets or perform melee attacks, making you more vulnerable.

'BLOOD-LUST' AND DEATH

- all good things come with a price. while granting you immense strength your blade has a vampiric hunger and needs blood to contain and harness its power. without it will become unstable, eventually killing you.

- your blood-lust timer is in the top left side of your screen. it will rapidly count down and the only way to reset back to full it is to kill an enemy.

- the sword also renders the user extremely fragile and easily hurt or killed.

- if the timer hits zero, you will die. if you get shot or stabbed once, you will die.

- an evil eye orbits the player and points towards the nearest enemy so you will always know where to find your next snack.

ENEMY ATTACKS

- your heightened senses allow you to predict when enemies will strike. an audio cue and UI element play before every attack

- use this to dodge gunshots and melee attacks
