No, please don't complain because the secret medal may or may not be finding a shiny Pokemon, which I am aware of the fact that obtaining this medal would be absurdly time consuming and not worth it. So please, just don't.
To find some pokemon very nice could have had more pokemon though, These sprite related games have always been a fave of mine and you dont really see these very much anymore but the sprites in this was pretty nice and visually its a fun game
