This video, while passionate, was a bit of a hell for me to make. Originally I was going to make this earlier than now and have it submitted sometime in July or August. However, after a commission for a 1 minute animation took up some of my time and thanks to a recent lawsuit with one of the biggest game companies in the world, this left me in a bit of a creative slump for a few weeks. When they announced when the last fighter is going to get revealed, I thought to myself "Might as well get this over with". Since I only had less than two weeks to make the animation, I had to spend a lot of tiredless nights on it. I did decide to make it a two parter to make thing suspensful. You could say part two will represent my reaction and I'll do a quick story the next day after seeing the character.

I also had to rewrite the story 3-4 times. Originally, the original story was suppose to be a parody of the Wind in the Willows part of Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad but instead of getting the deed to Toad Hall, it's getting the invite to Smash in a similar chase style. The other idea was to have it parody Mortal Kombat Armageddon where several game characters want to grab onto the last invite and fight over it, similar to the Kombatants trying to reach the flame on the Pyramid of Argus. Another was to parody Bojack Horseman where Crash was really depressed and wanted to go out of the picture but the Skylanders tell him there is more to life than just wanting to be part of a big game. In the end, I just went with this idea instead. I have two plans for part 2. If the character is someone I hope is in the game, I'll end the story like I planned. If it's not, I'll tweak that idea a bit.
