This is my first all-Flash anime short, and first submission to any site like this.

This is not broad comedy -- it is intended for a literary audience, specifically fans of the writings of H.P. Lovecraft. If you are not such a person and watch this anyway, you may want to read this first before you write a review.

The voice actresses, for those who wondered, are linked to on my own site, and you can look forward to hearing them again in upcoming animation projects.

For more info on H.P. Lovecraft and his works referenced in this short, I highly recommend this site: http://www.gizmology.net

I was expecting Cthulhu to pull out a gun and splatter his stuffed brains all over their room.
nice animation

He's rolling in his grave isn't he?

In response to the commentator below me.
There is no such thing as an American name (there are the 'indigenous Native American peoples names). What you identify as 'American' are European names, try British, German, Italian... Spanish.

I compliment you on your individuality. Thinking of Cthulhu as a cute plushy is awesome. And Lovecraft probably is rolling in his grave

It's soooo totally awesome!!!!

The elder gods have spoken unto thee!!! And they wonder.. What were you smoking when you thought of this cuz we want some! :D

A reply to DwarvenDefender...

Just a reply to the guy four comments down from me.

Original message from DD - If only the two little girls knew who Cuthulu actually was... If you've ever played the rpg of it with a big group, you'd understand.

As a reply, I'd simply like to point out that any little girl who's giggling while reading 'The Grapes of Wrath' probably chants "C'THULU F'TAGAN!" on a semi-regular basis.

Also, I love the concept. I'm sure Mr. Lovecraft spirit shudders somewhere whenever someone clicks the 'Play' button on this.
