My submission for the Stay Awake round of the jam. I've been wanting to figure out how to make an animation using my own artstyle as a basis, and this was my first "real" attempt. I'm fairly happy with the first attempt, but definitely can do with some streamlining. Hope you enjoy it, none the less!

This round's theme was "Stay Awake" so I purposefully did not make a storyboard or write a script to stay within the realms of the dreamworld. I found an old lecture by my favourite beatnik junkie writer William S. Burroughs, talking about "dreams as a biologic necessity". I used that speech as the basis for an animated stream of conciousness, something Burroughs was famous for in his writing as well. Massive thanks to @Naineux for creating the jazzy song around the speech!

Disclaimer: Before you start mindlessly believing the lecture, keep in mind Burroughs was an insane, drug-addled occultist dealing in pseudo-science.
