I made this for picoday 2021. this was a culmination of many parts of my newgrounds experience. the background music is a addition I made to this song (https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/980765) after criticism i received during the videogame music competition late last year. and only decided to make an animation after tuning in for The Newgrounds Podcast Office Hours. making art with characters who have existed longer than i have is like Pico who have existed longer than i have been alive is very special because it means I get to add my own interpretation to something that has such a long history and means so many different things to so many different people.
