Fiery and Zaphyr in Town

EDIT 12/17/21: Fuck it... just re-uploaded the original version with the audio, why not. It didn't get a copyright claim on YouTube, and the music this is from is a dead website from 2009

Lmao I guess I should make this my first post. Removed audio in case it gets taken down for copyright. This was made back in 2019.

If you want to view it with audio: ArtStation Link

Generic copypasted description:

(Characters are mine) Fiery meets up with his bro because he was invited to one of his magic shows.

Animation project for Digital Art class from a few years back. There's a lot of noticeable flaws, but this is my first time animating something like this and I only animate stuff once in a blue moon. (Also I think it's pretty obvious that I took some inspiration from Persona 5 for this, I like the art from that game a lot.)

Artwork in Photoshop, animated in Animate CC, and sound/credits put together in Premiere. A big thanks to my friend Shinseinaken (Shnsnkn on Twitter) for providing me the P5 UI audio files.

I didnt notice ya made movies :00 this is LIT- really enjoyed it!

TikkiToon responds:

Well rarely I do haha! Thank you :)

I STILL THINK YOU DID FANTASTIC ON THIS! I really love the Persona inspiration and the art itself is wonderful! For something you made with your OCs, the design of the backgrounds and characters themselves is really great! The animation may be simple, but all together it ties so well and I love it :D

Don't let the score put you down too much. I think you did a great job on the art. I just don't think this is for NG because traditionally the website is for cartoons type animation and not art tests and stuff. This feels like a vertical slice for an art portfolio rather than an animation itself.

I'm still not going to blam it tho because I think you did a fine job on the art - even if I don't find this suitable for NG.

TikkiToon responds:

Thanks for the review! Yeah, that makes sense. I'm still really new to the whole Newgrounds thing and still not fully sure if my work is adequate enough, I'm glad you still like the art.
