Horace Ep.2: Razor Blades

The story is based on a scene from the movie "Tales from the Crypt" (1972). It's the scene where a man is left in a dark hallway of razor blades as revenge from the people he mistreated at the home for the blind. The place was meant to be a trap where he was left to suffer and die. Okay so I doubt that most people has seen this movie(not to be confused with the HBO tv series), it's just an old British horror movie with 5 different mini stories, tales of gruesome deaths or something. And that just seemed like a disturbing scene to me.

This was made by Violet-AIM (not XwaynecoltX). He broke into my account and tried to claim collab credit for some of my movies.

Absent from flash after this was made. Any posts or reviews made by me from May 2005-Jan 2011 was not by me.

As creative as this may be. This just disturbs me alot to know that such a gruesome tale like this exists. But then i love Horror. I do find it very very creative but just the character who travels thru the razor blade hall way... looks like a kid. :( X(

But i'm sure your work has changed alot since this was.... what...over 13 years ago. :D

I like these

Notbad, you gave it a real scary movie feel wich was nice, and i like some your work as it leads that way alot, you should really work on more movie stuff like this, The artwork could be improved it was stale and out of date you need to freshen it up, also the animation could look smoother, just a few things you could think of working on better.

Violet-AIM responds:

Thanks as always.

Messed up

Very cool little movie. There's something almost existential about it's message. He spent all that time to get thru the razor blades, only to have them keep him from escaping. There wasn't a payoff after all. Also interesting that both Horace and the dog are dead at the end.

After the first ep, I was like "Shut up, Horace. Pigeons ain't so bad." But I totally agree with him about razor blades. They suck! I think paper cuts are really bad, so razor blade cuts are the worst!

Violet-AIM responds:

Well the dog is just a dumb angry dog, who's role is to prevent him from going by, but at the same time, he becomes a victime, because his concern was to attack, and he didn't realize about the razor blades until it was too late.

Fasinatinating

This series is very different than the Ghost motel one. I did not expect what happened at all. I didn't see that coming. I wonder where there was a hall way lioned with razor blades anyways. Maybe I'm thinking too logica right now. I thought ethe grphics were good and the movement was smooth. Good work.

Violet-AIM responds:

From what I can remember of that movie, it had something to do with a guy who ran a home for blind ppl, I think. But this guy mistreated them, so in return, the patients built this deathtrap for him, which involved a wall of razor blades. Maybe not logical, but the idea was something I couldn't forget, it was just so weird. Thanks for reviewing ramagi.
