A bit short, but it was still fun to play. The controls did feel weird at first, but I got the hang of it afterwards. Keep up the good work!
WARNING: the game can take few minutes to load, sorry :(
The sound might also be a bit loud.

Without spoiling too much of the story, this is a small and simple racing game taking place inside your mind. The controls may feel a bit slippery at first but they allow for amazing drifts. This game is available in French and English, select your preferred language on startup.
Controls:
Use the arrow keys to steer, accelerate and brake. Enter and space are used to accept various prompts.

Everything was created by me (sprites, code, music, ...). Except for a few sounds which were sampled and the font which can be found here.

Dude that was awesome?
Will there be more ?
maybe, not sure yet :)
Absoiutely charming art, visuals, and music!
I love the idea of this game, and could easily see it with a larger level pack on a store like steam.
I think my only complaint is that the brake should slow you down a lot faster. Using a balance of braking and speeding up in different sections could make for some really fun gameplay.
I look forward to your next creations.
This game was short, but enjoyable. I really like how the controls feel, and I think the level design works well with the slippery controls. Usually I'm not a fan of slippery control, but it allows you to pull off some tight turns, and that feels very satisfying to pull off. I also like the art design. The pastel color give an aesthetic vibe that I can't fully describe. Almost vaporwave like in a way. The sprites are also well made, I really like the tire marks that come from your car. I didn't encounter glitches while I was playing either, which is always a plus when it comes to Newgrounds games.
I have one large complaint though. There doesn't seem to be an incentive to go as fast as you can, which is what the game rates you for at the end. I think this game would benefit heavily from a scoreboard of some sort.
Besides that though, this was pretty decent. It's short, but it seems like that was the point. I feel that a scoreboard would do a lot of good for this game, since your time is the only thing calculated.
Yes I will try to implement a scoreboard, that's a very good idea :)
I like it! Short and sweet. The controls don't take too long to get the hang of. The music feels a little dream-like which fits in with the genre well. But, OMG, can you imagine the terror of this situation played out.
It would be terrifying :')
