Welcome to Escape! A puzzle game that loops each time you die. If you’re in easy mode the room you’re in will simply reset and if you’re in hard mode you will loop back to the start of the game. Also, be careful! You may wonder into a room and find an unexpected surprise…

This was my Ludum Dare 47 entry that I made in 48 hours. I'd been meaning to post this here so I hope you can enjoy it despite the length :)

really good but really short i see you have good future :)

toby1645 responds:

Thank you! It's only a bit short due to the fact it was made for the recent Ludum Dare 47 compo, I've included that in the description now to explain that. My future games that aren't made for game jams should be a bit longer :)

WOW! You don't really expect to see something like this on the Under Judgment Tab. I love the puzzles, it's always changing. The only flaw is length, but the time I did have with it was fun. Easy 7/10.

toby1645 responds:

I'm glad you liked it, and thank you for the kind comments! The length comes from the fact that I made this in 48 hours for the Ludum Dare 47 compo, so I didn't exactly have all the time in the world ;)

Not terrible, but honestly not great. Most of the levels are way too easy (except for room four, a.k.a. "RUN", which is almost too difficult) and the lack of many levels makes the game feel incomplete. If you made a puzzle that was a bit harder to solve or added more levels to the game, it would probably be a lot better overall. Not to mention, "hard mode" is literally just "easy mode", with the only difference being that it takes you back to the beginning of the game and not just the level if you fail.

toby1645 responds:

Thank you for the feedback! I didn't have much time to make this as it was made for the Ludum Dare 47 compo and I've just been meaning to post it here for a while. I've updated the description to clarify this and also linked to the walkthrough on my website (this is also included as a text file in the downloadable version). If I come back to this I will definitely implement some of your suggestions as I myself noticed some of the flaws that you've pointed out. The hard mode was added just to add an extra little challenge but (again) if I'd had more time it would have been a proper hard mode. Again, thank you for your honest and detailed feedback :)

Really short, but the puzzles are nice and challenging. I would probably tune up the last level where you have to avoid the spikes to where there's warnings on the floor for where the spikes are.
