When I saw the post for the Flash Forward Jam I knew I had to participate! Flash 8 taught me my first ever programming language, and I wouldn't be the game dev I am at my day job today without all the fundamentals I learned from Flash. I'm not sure what kind of "real game" to make yet, so I threw together this little toy as an ActionScript 2 refresher for myself. :) I hope you like it!

Nice demo. Maybe add some rain sound effects, many good free public domain stuff in FreeSound or a silent white noise will do. Though... it's aight, feels refreshing and I like playing around with the lilies and water/ripples effect.

Yeah, I agree some simple SFX would make a big difference. I may add some if I finish my "real" jam entry with time to spare (unlikely).
Well, it looked nice. It was just nothing but making ripples in the water. That's it. We all have to start somewhere. It's nice how you were on the thumbnail. Maybe not that high of an honor.
You did want to make something pleasant. I wish there was sound. Uh, Happy New Year? It's still been a rough start of the year. Well, at least for Trump.
Yeah it's pretty cool stuff.
