[1:1] In the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth,
[1:2] the earth was a formless void and darkness covered the face of the deep, while a wind from God swept over the face of the waters.
[1:3] Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.
[1:4] And God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness.
[1:5] God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.
[1:6] And God said, "Let there be a dome in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters."
[1:7] So God made the dome and separated the waters that were under the dome from the waters that were above the dome. And it was so.
[1:8] God called the dome Sky. And there was evening and there was morning, the second day.
[1:9] And God said, "Let the waters under the sky be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear." And it was so.
[1:10] God called the dry land Earth, and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And God saw that it was good.
[1:11] Then God said, "Let the earth put forth vegetation: plants yielding seed, and fruit trees of every kind on earth that bear fruit with the seed in it." And it was so.
[1:12] The earth brought forth vegetation: plants yielding seed of every kind, and trees of every kind bearing fruit with the seed in it. And God saw that it was good.
[1:13] And there was evening and there was morning, the third day.
[1:14] And God said, "Let there be lights in the dome of the sky to separate the day from the night; and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years,
[1:15] and let them be lights in the dome of the sky to give light upon the earth." And it was so.
[1:16] God made the two great lights - the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night - and the stars.
[1:17] God set them in the dome of the sky to give light upon the earth,
[1:18] to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.
[1:19] And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day.
[1:20] And God said, "Let the waters bring forth swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the dome of the sky."
[1:21] So God created the great sea monsters and every living creature that moves, of every kind, with which the waters swarm, and every winged bird of every kind. And God saw that it was good.
[1:22] God blessed them, saying, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth."
[1:23] And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day.
[1:24] And God said, "Let the earth bring forth living creatures of every kind: cattle and creeping things and wild animals of the earth of every kind." And it was so.
[1:25] God made the wild animals of the earth of every kind, and the cattle of every kind, and everything that creeps upon the ground of every kind. And God saw that it was good.
[1:26] Then God said, "Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild animals of the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth."
[1:27] So God created humankind in his image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
[1:28] God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth."
[1:29] God said, "See, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food.
[1:30] And to every beast of the earth, and to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food." And it was so.
[1:31] God saw everything that he had made, and indeed, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

Not bad, but everything in the shop costs way too much

JOSEPHgamedev responds:

I will discount for the next time ok,

Joseph, where to begin.. Let us start where I clicked first, "About". Although I would actually be interested in knowing whatever story it is you want to tell here (and I am just guessing because I didn't set through it) I have no desire to set through your slow scrolling text. No need to try and be dramatic, just put it in there for us to read and call it good. No matter how much of it there is we will either choose to read it or not, but I guarantee more people will read it as static text than a slow scroll with 5 words per line.

The next place I clicked was "Shop", because who doesn't want to find out what the game has to offer in terms of upgrades. I was not at all surprised to see birds in the shop. I figured the question marks would tell me something about the bird. That is the first thing that struck me, the text was distorted in almost all of the information boxes. Please consider using larger text boxes allowing you to use clearly readable text, it should not be squished or forced into a certain space. Make enough space to say what you need to say. Also the pricing goes from high to low rather than low to high, which is a personal preference thing, it just feels counterintuitive to me.

Backtracking to the title, which should have been the first thing that I mentioned, but it wasn't really even an annoyance it just struck me as odd. In the game you call it "Bingbird" is this a typo? Or why do you call it being bird elsewhere (your newgrounds title for it and on Itch?

Clicking on play I see more distorted text in information boxes (I still have not been given playing instructions at this point). Also there is no apostrophe in want (you wrote wan't).

So finally in the game, I was actually surprised to find out that the game has nothing at all to do with being a bird. I was honestly expecting some really cool indie bird simulator (regardless of how well developed) or some strange game where you run through the life of a bird completing various tasks. Nowhere in my brain did it occur to me that I would get what I got. A three lane collect and avoid. Disappointed, but that isn't on you it is on me. The actual gameplay was pretty standard for this type of game though the viewing distance felt very short. I also did not notice any difference in difficulty between kindergarten (the g, by the way should not be capitalized) and the college. The only thing I noted was a change in background and a change in coin value...

Coin value, although you do have a monetary value that you collect for each coin (1, 3, and 5) It would take so much longer than I would ever care to get enough to buy the lowest upgrade.. much less the highest upgrade.

Overall the game is nothing very new, or very interesting. There are a lot of things that could be done to improve it. However it does work as it is and it is obvious that some time and thought was at least put into this. This is one of those games that I have an easy time writing about, but a hard time scoring. Part of me wants to give you a high score because in your story (which i didn't read through) you do say you are fairly new to this, and you did produce a reasonable game with thought and effort. At the same time it does have some issues and doesn't really present anything new. I am going to give it just the positive side of half way because I think the pros slightly outweigh. Don't be discouraged though, keep trying.

JOSEPHgamedev responds:

hhawwhhh! ok, I am so glad that someone does care about my game and curious to tell what I have been done! ow man, your words are hard for me but honestly, I am so excited when I am reading your words! all I knew now is that I am not perfect and I need more practice and experience to present my best, anyway I DON'T GIVE UP!NEVER. By the way, I showed my game to lots of peoples and they just give me a big well congratulation, and no one gonna tells me what is wrong with my game, so I just realize that my game is good, but now after your note I know more about my false. THANKS TO YOU.(sorry for the bad game name).
