Looks smooth and awfull in same time.

Bingleheimer responds:

Beautifully horrendous? I tried my best not to be my perfectionist self and get too tied down with details :) The style isn't quite there but I'm glad to be pushing in new directions. Thanks for the feedback!

This is pretty decent i gotta admit. The lines are a nice touch and the dialogue ain´t bad either.I am struggling to figure out what to word out what´s bad though.I guess the lines are a bit too random in their movement. In my mind they would fit when they are synced in with the mood of the character and the situation as well.Like at the end it fits for em to lose shape but maybe also colour as well if it makes sense to you.I like the mail part but maybe she should just excuse herself before he gets to say anything, like she cuts him off.Maybe add some cheery music at the beginning and a sad trombone at the punchline.I hope it helps.

Bingleheimer responds:

Definitely does help - thanks phenorax. I agree I could alter the speed and amount the lines move to match the mood of each shot; I thought about it but was under my own tight deadline so didn't prioritize that. Moving forward I will give that and color change more consideration as well as reducing some of the eery dead air with sfx like you mentioned. Thanks man!

im insanely scared

Bingleheimer responds:

It's going to be ok docwaffle.

It's all going to be ok.

I really love the vibrating shapes. It gives the animation a certain level of mysticism.

I also found it interesting that the only other person in the shot was actually not changing shapes at random for the brief time she was in the shot.

I'm not sure about the humor.. but this video, as a piece of art, is pretty good.

Bingleheimer responds:

Thanks DreamHollow I appreciate your input!

Yeah it definitely is more focused on the visuals than humor. I find slapstick things funny so I tried to include as much of that as possible - Jon and Odie hitting their heads. Thanks again!

Pretty good, I liked that the style of the animation was used in the punchline as well.

Bingleheimer responds:

Thanks Kutaykomics! I considered making the whole thing that kind of abstraction - maybe I'll do it just for fun.
