For the HaxeFlixel Game Jam with the theme: "Alone, Together"

You are alone in this graveyard, fighting the army of the dead, and when you die, you leave "your past self" behind, so now you fight together!

Killing enemies gives you experience, the higher your level, the stronger the next ghost will be.

Each death applies curse, if you get too much of it you lose. Leveling up reduces curse.

I almost didn't participate, I work full time and go to college at night. I kept studying how flixel works and on the last week decided to make the game. Honestly, making this was lots of fun, I'm pretty satisfied with the result and I will totally use flixel again in the future.

cool gaem pls add fullscrien pls

Wonderful game, but it ends very fast and only has one type of enemy.

Really fun, and it's satisfying to be able to get past what would be impossible at the start using your ghosts. Still, as fun as it was, I felt useless in comparison to the ghosts. Even the weaker ones could automatically target lock, and I just couldn't deal useful damage. As for dodging, the skeletons would sometimes come in small groups and be manageable, and then sometimes there's a swarm that kills me. When you can't deal damage, and the enemies are too fast for you to run, all you can do is sit there.

I'd have liked if leveling up made the player themself stronger, and maybe then the ghosts could just be NPC versions of the player? That way you could feel prouder of their upgrades, less like a passenger in your own run.

Impossible at the beginning, but at the end I was trying to get myself killed and I couldn't. Maybe try adding some more enemy types.

Cool idea and satisfying execution, especially if you die a bunch of times and end up with your own personal corpse guard.
