Based on TerminalMontage's "Something About" videos, it's terribly animated on purpose.

But yeah this video is pretty lackluster and short, since Super Mario Bros. barely had new things introduced in the game, and all the levels have only four themes...

I plan on making a "In A Nutshell" for all the Mario games eventually.
