First game I've made in Unity, took about 30 hours spread out over ~3 weeks to complete.

Recommended to play on fullscreen.

instructions screen is bigger than the screen, can't read it all, can't find a way to start the game.

Pretty good for a first game, graphics look pretty good and I like the music and sfx. It seems pretty fleshed out, with some nice 3d models. The power up spawning is good too, although I'm not sure what they actually do.
The movement however should be relative to the camera, if you search "unity camera relative movement" there are some tutorials on it. I also suggest using Cinemachine to make the camera movement smoother, Brackeys has a tutorial on it. The menu could also look nicer, Brackeys also has a tutorial on that XD
Overall, pretty nice :)

why did you set up the movement controls this way..?

also do you realize how much that negatively impacts performance? the game engine has to do trigonometric calculations every time the player hits a direction key.

Looks good but the controls aren't set properly so I end up going right when pressing w and so on.

I think movement would be much more intuitive if it was relative to the screen and not relative to the player, I mean, if pressing w moved you up instead of forward and so on. Also since this game already uses the mouse and there's no action linked to the left click it would be nice make it a fire button as well like in most games of this genre.
