The car is difficult to control, but for a jam Game the result is really good. Congrats for the concept and art.

Repair your car as you try to win the race, and avoid being hit so your car won't explode! Have fun playing this driving-puzzle game made by four game design students for Global Game Jam 2020.
Gamepad is not mandatory but highly encouraged to play.
If you don't have one, the controls are:
W to accelerate
S to break/back
A and D to steer left and right
Move the mouse to move the hand
Enjoy!
Crash once, and you're unable to catch the others. And you crash easily.
And even worse, try quitting in the middle of the game, and the cursor is not working. I'm not playing again.

You are right that the game is pretty hard at first, we are trying to tweak it to a point where it'll still be balanced while being a good challenge.
We'll also take a look at the mouse problem, we didn't consider it -- Thanks for pointing that out!
Solid effort for a student entry into the Global Game Jam. I found the steering slightly tricky though and the camera following might benefit from a longer smoothing time.
