Rush Grotto is an infinite turn-based dungeon crawler made for Mini JAM 45.

Choose between a small deck of cards to do different actions. Keep an eye on the time and on the enemies behaviour, keep moving forward and get to the stairs to the next floor of the dungeon!

The pixel art and animations are great. The way you interact with the interface feels really satisfying.
The gameplay however is really RNG driven, there's not really any startegies to utilize other than use up your cards hope the right one comes out, therefore every run is solely dependent on luck instead of skill or logical reasoning. Waiting for new cards to appear does slow down the process a bit too, but I see why it's done.
I see that you're a UX/UI designer on your profile, and you've certainly done a great job here making interactions with the game very satisfying! But as a game itself, it could be better thought out. Best of luck with future games!

Hey this is interesting. The timer is probably redundant indeed though.

Def, appearance-wise looks great. Not to sound off, but I was thinking it could use some more speeding and be mixed up with something, and I automatically thought of another mouse-only game I played through not too long ago, Numgeon.

Could be really good. Moves way too slow considering you tend to have to stall for attack cards

I was excited at the beginning, but the game did not deliver any strategic depth. Quite sad, because graphic and sound are good.
