Hey! To start this decade right, we believe Newgrounds should be ad-free for EVERYONE. For this to work, we need people who have the means to become paying supporters. For just $3 per month or $25 for the year, you can help this happen and get some nice perks!

For the month of January we have disabled ads on all E-M content. We need 181 people to reach our January goal of 3,000 active supporters. If we hit that, we'll continue with a new goal in February!

You don’t have to be dead to play this game

GAME DESCRIPTION————
Another entry in the “Zombie Society” series.

Zombies have conquered the world, and they have established their own society.
It’s a lot of fun, but even zombie society has its criminals!

Meet Margh, undead private detective, and his partner Ghvnn, and help them solve the case at hand in this funny point and click adventure!

Interrogate the suspects, find clues and combine them as if they were items in your inventory, form your own deductions and find the culprit… or accuse the wrong zombie!

FEATURES——————
- Voice acting! (sort of)
- Instantaneous translation from ‘zombiesh’ to english (be warned: zombies tend to say “brain” a lot!)
- Hint system that will give you a hand when you’re stuck (simply talk to Ghvnn)
- A deduction system that will make you use your brain!
- different endings depending on your choices
- pixelated original art
- a complete walkthrough (you’ll find it in the options panel)

AUTHOR'S NOTES---------------------
And now, an announcement. More than one, actually.

First of all... I'm getting married.
That's right!! My significant other has been reckless enough to say yes to my proposal. Poor her. Lucky me!

And... And this has a few implications.
I'm very sorry to say... I'm not sure I can find the words, but here it goes: this one will be the last episode for the Zombie Society Dead Detective series. At least for a while.
Unfortunately, that also means I'll stop working on the desktop game, too.

There. I've said it.

And I know this might come as a shock to you guys who have supported me until now. I'm very grateful for that, I really am.

But to prepare a wedding I'll need LOTS of money, to renovate the house we'll live I'll need LOTS of money, and this means I'll have NO money to invest in a Steam game in the foreseeable future.

Besides, I'll be totally honest with you guys: after two years, eleven episodes and lots of fun, I really, really feel the need to work on something else.
Zombie Society will always have a special place in my heart and I'll probably get back to it in time, but at the moment I need a break which is, most of all, creative in nature.

I will continue to make games. I can promise you that.
I have lots of ideas for the future, and I hope you'll keep on following me and have fun with me and with my next projects.

Sincerely, thank you for your support.

Francesco

I really appreciate the series! Eleven episodes is way more than I thought you'd ever make, so thank you :) Don't stop being creative, you've obviously got the talent and skill to succeed.

On a personal note: I wish you well and a happy married life, but I agree with a fellow commenter - do not invest LOADS of money in a wedding. Being married is not about the "greatest day in your life" (meaning everything afterwards or before gets reduced to being less), but merely about starting the greatest time of your life.

Bug report: On firefox the game keeps resetting, so it is not playable. Also, the medals won't show up for me even though they were confirmed as unlocked within the game.

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR MARRIAGE! :) some of the things you have to do are a little unclear but otherwise it was a very enjoyable game, as usual from the zombie detective games. I really enjoy the concept and the humor. I hope to see more from you

Love the game! And congrats on the marriage!

I just found one bug which may need to be fixed before it becomes worse. basically when you try to exit the hotel room the screen freezes and almost refuses to let you go for a min or two. I also dont like the non automatic loading page. But thats just me. Well Done regardless! :D

First off, congrats on your engagement man! With a supportive beautiful person by your side, you're sure to accomplish even more than you originally thought you could :). I've never disliked a zombie society game, but this particular one was one of the better-made ones. I guessed both clues correctly, which added a bonus of enjoyment for me.

I hadn't played one of your ZS Dead Detective games in around 5-6 months, when suddenly as my advertisement on my page for this game (I'll put up something else up now), decided to see if any new episodes come out, so it was good to catch up on this old series. I'm glad you're doing much better, and no matter what you choose, always be sure that you are using your creativity talents in a way that is helpful to you, as well as being enjoyable to other players, but the most important point is that your creativity grows with you as a person, not with the opinions of other people, though constructive criticism is always welcomed I'm sure. Good luck on your future creative endeavors! ~ ~

Hi Muja!

I really enjoyed your your Zombie Society series but I am not sad about them being over. Eleven episodes is a lot and it is understandable that an artist needs to move on with his creative life. I hope your future creations are as good or better.

As someone happily married for more then 10 years and occasionally having helped other people with their relationships I suggest you don't spend too much money on wedding. Certainly not that much that makes you feel that it's LOTS for you. Certainly not that much that bank and credit or hopeless wage slavery becomes third or fourth members of your marriage. It's long term marriage, love and prosperity and peace of mind that counts, not one day that can be ruined by a drunken relative or bad weather or any unpredictable factor even despite you spending all you money on it. A wife that dreams about perfect wedding too obsessively is not marriage material, a wife that dreams about prudent and mutually responsible long term marriage and loving family is.

I wish you future success in your love life and creative life!
