Minerva Gems: Ruby Rough Animation Test (Blender 2.8)

A reupload from my YouTube channel.

Original video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_m2rmBjCsL0

Original description:
An animation test of a Ruby, featuring audio from Charlyne Yi's interview on CONAN. The facial animation was super fun to do because the model itself is remarkably expressive. The Ruby also has a myriad of different customization options for clothes, which I will demonstrate later on.

i think you over did the lip sync but i wholey comend your efforts toward making it as close as possible for a "not funnie didn't laugh" bit . the face might of been over board but the body is very stiff and not as great carrying the enthusiasm on both would be rad

I think my favorite part is the worm guys, always found them to be the best part. Also It's not funny, didn't laugh.

solid fluid animation- slightly clunky but only noticeable if you're really looking for it. Im still a beginning animator so im trying to avoid bring up stuff like "the rules of animation" and all that XD your detail and fluidity is solid ill say that :D

If I could handle blender and other modeling / animation tools I'd love to work with you sometime- if my turd brain can first LEARN anything about 3d animating.

BatteryMasterMMD responds:

Thanks very much!

I didn't like how there was no background and it wasn't funny. The model looked awesome and the Animation was good

BatteryMasterMMD responds:

Thanks! The lack of a background was due to this being just a rough test animation (hence the numerous clipping errors that occur throughout). Generally, a background isn't mandatory if its just an animation test.
