This was an old game for class, also made in 2 weeks. I never posted it b/c I didn't want you guys to rip it apart due to certain issues (SEE BELOW) but since it's got that ~spooky~ vibe I figured I might as well for this Halloween.

PLEASE NOTE:

-The ideal control scheme is WASD for movement + left thumb on space + arrow keys for combo inputs but due to different keyboard wiring configurations, you may find that certain combinations of the arrow keys don't work, in which case you will have to use WASD. Yes, I know that sucks. In an ideal world we would have changed the arrow keys inputs to something else but I'm not a programmer and at this point it's too late for me to dig into the code.

-This game hasn't been properly tested for difficulty scaling. There's no end level. I'm curious to know how far you can get, though.

-For some of my previous uploads I've gotten comments like "no API/medals/highscores makes this pointless"... In response to that I'd like to say that none of these games were meant for Newgrounds specifically or meant to be played for hours on end. These are small class projects based on a theme. I'm happy if you can find some enjoyment for a few minutes :')

Good music, good design, interesting concept, I read the description and tried what it said, but the arrow keys for the combos were still stuck. Nothing really stood out to me either. Good attempt though.

driftwoodwolf responds:

If the arrow keys don't work for the combos, you have to use the WASD keys...

Genuinely had a lot of fun playing this!

Seeing as it was a class project interests me; I'm learning Unity as well for class at the moment and this game is definitely giving me some inspiration on what to ask my professor about haha (in a good way!).

Keep up the good work! Look forward to seeing more.

It was alright.

music, art and such worked well enough, game play idea was interesting enough, however it did get repetitive after awhile. maybe add different things to possess, other obstacles, a few simple things can really add to it.

Otherwise, nice work.
