Jass or Jassen is the most popular card game in Switzerland and is considered as a national. There are various game variants such as Schieber, Coiffeur, Differenzler. As it is the most popular, Schieber option is used in VIP Games.
The game is played by 4 players, in 2 × 2 teams sit teammates against each other.
A stack of 36 cards is used, with the cards grouped in 4 colors. The cards in each suit are Ace, King, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7 and 6.

The first dealer is randomly selected. The dealer deals 9 cards to each player starting with the player to his right and continuing counterclockwise. In the following rounds, the dealer is changed counterclockwise.

The player can only see his cards.
The opponent's cards are not visible.
