The level of box has reached maximum capacity ..... even Amazon is jealous.
So in 2018 I entered the 3|Thirty animation competition. A local Perth Based animation comp where you get three months to make a thirty second cartoon based on a prompt. I was going through a pretty busy and intense schedule at the time, so I just kind of rolled with what I got and had to cut a lot of corners to save time. But I couldn't post anywhere before the award night per the rules and I then forgot to upload it.
I didn't win, but one of the people who ended up winning did laugh audibly in the audience so I count the moral victory. Next one will be better.

Hahah yeah, my first instinct was just to compound the amount of references to the prompt as possible because it sounded funny to me. Had this not been for a competition with a hard time limit, I would have tried to add even more!
That was pretty good, considering the limiting circumstances you had. Animation was a little fast, but again, limitations. Sound design was really nice, I loved the noise the moment he dropped into the box. It was disconnected but that was the point, I guess. The ending was pretty funny with the little thump. The concept was pretty interesting. That dog was pretty funny too.
Keep it up, you've got some good stuff going on, though I can't really accurately judge your current skill level from this.
Hey thanks a lot for the very fair assessment. Yeah, the thirty second limit ended up messing me up a little more than I thought and I've had issues with animation speed for a while that just kind of got exacerbated by it.
I'm glad to hear the sound design was okay though, I've been trying to improve in that area too and on your last point, thanks for the encouragement. I've definitely got a bunch of big projects in the works!
