Vera Blanc and the Carpathian Horror

Author Comments

This is a visual novel.
Take on the role of Vera Blanc, a beautiful young woman who, after brain surgery, gained the extraordinary ability to read other people's minds! Daughter of multi-millionaire Emmanuel Blanc, Vera left her life of luxury to work alongside paranormal detective Brandon Mackey (former FBI agent). Be immersed in the world of the supernatural as you play the detective!
Travel with Vera to Romania as she hunts a vampire who attacked her detective partner.
Will you be able to solve the mystery?

This is a fan-made game using characters from the Vera Blanc games by winterwoves dot com. Game characters are used with permission of winterwolves. Familiarity with the Vera Blanc characters is not required. Characters are introduced at the beginning of the game (the player has the option to skip the introduction). This is the second of my fan made Vera Blanc games, a sequel to Vera Blanc and the Island Phantom.

It's ok, a little bit static.

Btw. Carlsbad is in the Czech Republic, not in Romania.

'Carlsbad' in my visual novel is a fictitious city. I chose that name as it was the location of Dracula's castle in the Hammer film 'Dracula: Prince of Darkness', although I changed the spelling from Karlsbad to Carlsbad. Consider it poetic license. :)

The concept is interesting, I almost was going to critique you for no music, but as I thought, it arrived later in the game. Perfect music use for each scene. The art-style is an alright one as I've played with this style many times. The characters names are nice references to legends. I enjoy the physics of the game, it makes it more realistic. In some positions like doggy, shouldn't the guy be thrusting against her? It would be nice if the vocals synced with the characters mouths.
The "Later in the hotel bar". "Later in" looks double spaced, a small, but pet peeve detail. The feet in missionary look uncomfortable. But overall you did a good job with the game.

Regarding thrusting, when this was made I was still learning to animate, and had not fully figured out how to easily have two characters moving at the same time.
Regarding "Later in the hotel bar" I missed inserting a comma.
I still haven't learned how to synchronize vocals with the character mouths.
