A take on traditional hand-drawn animation. Some digital assistance was used, but all frames ( exept water waves, as I failed to cut them out ) and backrounds were drawn on paper.

Also you could check out how it differs from it's original idea by checking out an unfinished animatic ( https://youtu.be/kd1SoFF0cA ) ( it's not NG worthy, to be honest ) of this thing that I made for some reason...

satisfying and cool

This is fucking incredible.

I can't believe you did all this with paper, man. Kudos to ya, I absolutely loved it!

This is giving me vibes of The Dream Machine, Terry Gilliams and Felix Colgrave. I adore it.

Love the surreal and creepy atmosphere of this one! The minimalist sound design goes hand in hand with the art style, which I do appreciate, knowing it was all done in a traditional way. The message I got from this was of sacrificing oneself to society for progress as with each sacrifice the building grows larger, and once there is no sacrifice the growth stops, or once the sacrifice isn't accepted. However perhaps sometimes this progress isn't so pleasing, as seen from the quite dilapidated look of the building itself.
