Hey! To start this decade right, we believe Newgrounds should be ad-free for EVERYONE. For this to work, we need people who have the means to become paying supporters. For just $3 per month or $25 for the year, you can help this happen and get some nice perks!

For the month of April we have disabled ads on all E-M content. We need 23 people to reach our goal of 3,000 active supporters. If we hit that, we'll continue with a new goal in May!

Please check out our Supporter Upgrade and consider coming aboard!

Updated (August 8, 2019): Tweaks on the gameplay. Less effort should be exerted in order to see the next events.

Tip: Use the mouse... Which you can either use it to click or just move.

An abstract film that interprets a "breakup" or "moving on". Memories of a relationship are depicted before the first day of May. And the question is, what happened afterwards?

Made for the GMTK Game Jam 2019, with the theme of "Only One".

was able to play through the whole thing. I very much like the story and graphics

Not tedious anymore. But a bit tedious. And now I am actually stuck. I get the picture of the clock in the middle bottom, I spam the hell out of my mouse, on the paintings, on the background... the clock goes back and forth forever. Is this the end of the game already?
#edit: Seriously? I NEEDED AN AUTOCLICKER.
Nevertheless, I love it because I've been trough this scenario.

You don't know what happens on May 1st? Oh, you sweet summer child. Fortunately, Johnathan Coulton wrote an educational song about it! It's called "The First of May," and it's about an old-fashioned tradition!

I usually don't like abstract things, but i find this one very interesting... i loved the use of the two rose to indicate the two of you... keep up being creative <3

Yeah, really not my kind of "game". It looks all right, though.
