The Dead Room

"The Dead Room" introduces you to Mary Ann Becker - a woman with a strange disappearance that occurred over thirty years ago. She lived in a one room flat and left nothing but a harrowing mystery. Her room has been vacant ever since. Who will dare enter? Who will unravel the riddle that has long baffled the local authorities? You will!

"The Dead Room" is a very short point-n-click horror game which is heavy on atmosphere and loaded with some quick jump scares for scare time sake. It is a game that is included on our pending Flash Vault Source Code Edition that is meant to show the capabilities of Clickteam's Fusion 2. The game is quick on story and action and should only take a few minutes to play...

Fusion 2 now allows multiple exports from one native source file to every platform in popular use-from Windows PC, Flash, HTML5, Android and IOS and MAC.

It`s really from the horror genre. Fear embraced me. It reminded me of the game "The House" in a certains respects, although yours is superior and also the Paul Naschy`s film "The Night of Walpurgis". I loved the atmosphere, the design and the scares. Congratulations. Long life the Walpurgis night !!!

ArcheonMedia responds:

By coincidence I am also a Paul Naschy fan! The Dead Room was one of our earliest games and it was indeed modeled after The House. We are keeping the atmospheres all through our current games...give the Book of Gates series a roll. Thanks for the review...

Too short and wasn't scary. Jumpscares were just kinda lame. But I do like the aesthetic, reminds me of another point and click horror game I use to play as a kid back in the 2000s, it was called "The House".

ArcheonMedia responds:

Thanks for playing. The early games were indeed based on The House play style but we have progressed into newer areas. Give the Book of Gates games a try. More to come.

I like the overall aesthetics of the game and the sort of throwback it is to those old horror point and click games that used to trend, I feel that there's very little and that you could do a lot more with this format.

You have too short games.

welll..... that's a no for me
