It is an intriguing game, I love choose your own adventure interactive fictions, but this has one major flaw.. There is really only one path (with 2 endings), the great thing about these types of games are the various endings and paths you can take. Just to be sure I played almost every if not every option, and there seems only one real choice in the game (to enter the portal or destroy it). I want to be able to save my crew, or do some reconnaissance and report back to earth without problem (you know a happy ending), or various other bad endings (other than just you failed and died). Also why didn't the aliens blast us as soon as we landed? I guess the feeling of a very forced linear story makes the story feel kind of 'thin'. That being said the game was otherwise well made, I liked the simplicity of push 1-3 to make a choice (though it would have been nice to be able to click as well). Because the game does have a graphic on the side it would be really nice if that changed to at least provide something to the story, the text in this case is not overly descriptive and leaves a bit much to the imagination. Also I am not sure if this is designed to have a sequel or not.. You say chapter 1 in the game, but both endings feel pretty final, and all of the other characters we met are dead..
