Getting stuck on the edges of platforms is NOT a good addition to difficulty, since it happens unexpectedly. It is bound to be seen as a bug rather than a feature, and an annoyance rather than a challenge.
Similarly, it's rather inconsistent the "hitbox" of the character, where sometimes the spikes will kill you if they touch the character's feet, and sometimes they'll kill if they touch the main body, leading to inconsistency in the platforms.
Also, there is no actual indicator of what to do and how to do it in-game. Relying on the description for your game to explain what to do is not a good strategy. On top of that, it is very difficult to see the number of deaths you have left.
What's more, there is no way to manually restart the level. Having an R hotkey to restart would be appreciated, as well as a mute button and the ability to jump using the UP/W key.
It's a pretty good concept, but the way the game mechanics are formatted just makes it more frustrating than anything. I do give you props for making this for JimJam (it's one of those things where you make a game in just 3 days, right?), but it still could have been done a little better.used I hope you can use this advice to improve for future games.
