"LOL YOU DON'T WANT IT TO LOOK LIKE A REAL HOUSE?" Designing a real house and designing a puzzle game are separate things. JordanManaya pointed out the shelf of boxes (none of which do anything) and the table (which doesn't have a single interactive component) - they do nothing but waste the player's time. Also, if you tell the player they need a pot, don't put pots in the game as background elements that you CAN'T TAKE. It makes the character you're playing as look like a complete idiot for ignoring these obvious answers to his problems.
