If you watch the previous episode it will make sense
The absurd and interesting animation style, funny voices, goofy idea and moments, and some not so noticable yet great music.
Pros: consistent art style, boneless Tuesdays, funny God concept
Cons: the jokes are not quite jokes yet, not much setup or payoff

That’s a fair critique. The setups are subtle, though, you might have actually missed some of them. Or you might have just not found them funny.
