I can see the gameplay could be really fun, but I really would appreciate checkpoints.

It seems to bug for me; it doesn't accept S ou down arror to move. It does go down a bit if I click the settings icon open then close, but that's neither controlable nor a fun game. Other than that, It doesn't actually _move_ down, as you seem to say in answer to similar complaints.
Sorry, but I can't see whatever is original about it. Looks like yet another cavern side-scroller.
