The first time I played it took me 28 years to build the ziggurat. After that I played several times and kept getting my score lower, until it was down to 16 years and a few months. I couldn't seem to get under 16 years. Then I had one single really good run and built it in 12 years and some months, which was pretty surprising.
I love this game--it's now become one of my favorite strategy games on here. Reminds me a lot of Excavate. I really love the minigames they included as well.
I wonder why this is rated so poorly on here? Probably because it's difficult to figure out how to play in the start. The game doesn't really explain that the various piles on the map represent how much of each building material you have to work with. Once I figured out this one thing the game became a lot of fun.
