Reminds me of Talking Carl, from the old appstore days.
This is my first 3D animation. I created the entire scene and assets. I rigged and animated this character, rendering this short scene with varying camera angles.

For a first animation that looks very good. Great work with the animation and with making that character, loved his concept!! If i had to mention something that kinda bugged me a little was how he stops moving as a whole before moving to a different scene and etcetera. But keep on making those, you have a lot of potential.
your first, yes, but do not allow it to be your last. tis great
It needs more fur, more wet noses, and tails.
But the generation was great!
Now it just needs some substance.
I am not an animator, so I don't have any clue how hard this stuff is lol, I feel like my review is kind of useless, but I had to write something!
The animation wasn't the best I've seen, but it was pretty nice. The monster stood out a bit because of its squishy physics and overall clayish look. I guess it was meant to be that way though. The sound effects were very quiet, and while the concept here could be nice for a relaxing, wholesome experience, nothing interesting really happens. I was also confused for a good bit as to why it ignored some pieces, before I realized it was going after the black ones. And then I realized it was all the same thing with different camera angles, but since they don't really add much, we're really watching a cute monster randomly turn around a lot to slow down the simple action of knocking over one chess piece. You didn't need this many angles and at one point, the end angle was the same as the beginning angle of the next rendition. This was really confusing. The fact that the monster turns around and spots something at the end every time didn't help my conviction that this was all a string of interactions. If it ended with the wave every time maybe it would have been better.
Graphically very good, I liked the scene and everything, but it's a bit too many variations of the same thing, and they're not that different and a bit confusingly edited.
