Doesn't work in Chrome or Edge...

This is the first game I've ever made. I made it in 4 days, 3 to 8 hours a day. Most of the assets are made by a friend, but some of them are from the internet - I would give credits, but I have no Idea where I got them from.
Anyway, ENJOY!
Gameplay:
You are a man/women riding a car (w,a,s,d keys) in space. Your goal is to kill as many monsters as you can. There are 2 types of powerups: health and bullets (you shoot using the space key)

Strange... It did work for me. I didn't test edge, but Chrome surely worked however.
all this does is show me the play button and flickers

I'm sorry but it doesn't work for me (using Opera browser). When I click "Start", the noise tells me the game has started but all I see is the "Start" text blinking.
the game starts when I hit play but the screen doesn't change
