An action packed retro-ish platformer. Featuring amazing stuff like: grabbing coins, dying from spikes, enemies, and falling platforms. It's still in development, and its meant to be a native windows application! That's why some buttons are disabled.


We are 2 passionate guys from the Netherlands, we made this game in GODOT as a schoolproject. We are programmers, and the artstyle wasn't made by us. Enjoy!


Use the arrow keys to move, and to (double) jump.
Press 'E' or 'CTRL' to attack your foes.

This game is a really early pre-alpha build I am guessing? That being said, it will need a lot of cleaning up before it starts to look better (and hopefully that can be submitted for people to review and give feedback on as well.)

Pros:

- Kind of fun to play but can be frustrating
- The background moves while you move, do not see that too often, looks good

Cons:

- There is a lack of any music, sound effects, or background noise at all
- Clunky controls, there are times you can be a few pixels off and still kill the enemies or you end up hitting a ceiling that you cannot see and die.
- Background graphics are really obvious rips as they are not cleaned up at all and just seem messy
- The end level icon seems pretty unfitting for the game
- Character's standard pose seems really strange and like they are only looking downward the whole time

Hope this review helps and that in the future, you two can improve a lot on your game.

Thanks a lot! Yes this is our first game, we have made this in only a month.
We will add an animation for killing enemies, and fix the collision issue!

Way to unfinished. Cleared it in one minute. It really lacks some sounds. Movement is a bit clunky, but ok. Hit detection is pretty bad. When you attack an enemy it just disappears. Some animation should be in place. Furthermore, the enemy disappears as soon as you press the button and not when the sword strikes.

Overall, this just don't feel ready for release at all.

It's true that the game isn't completed yet, making the collision detection better is a good point and something that I will fix in the near future.

If you're going to submit demos, let it be meaningful. You don't explain the controls anywhere and the screen size is too big to fit on most screens.

The art style is clashing with one another and the level design is really basic. It's moderately entertaining.

Well, yeah we are 2 programmers. The artstyle isn't made by us.
But the level design I can improve, and a tutorial also will be made an issue on github.
