The Battle of Isandlwana:
http://bit.ly/BOIsandlawana
The battle of Roark's Drift is one of the most famous battles in English history. The battled occurred during the Anglo Zulu war, a war of British colonial aggression against the Zulu nation.
Following the stunning defeat of the British at the Battle of Isandlwana, the garrison at Roark's Drift was suddenly under threat and unable to retreat without abandoning their hospital patients to the Zulu. Over the following day and night, they led a desperate defensive action outnumbered almost 25 to 1 by Zulu warriors.
Finally, after expending over 20,000 rounds and with almost no ammunition remaining, the Zulu retreated, and the garrison was relieved shortly after. This became the most decorated battle in the history of Britain.

Information is derived from a number of historical sources including websites, historians, and literature. The fog of history is a real thing, even relatively recent events often have sources in disagreement or relying on one another. When possible information is derived from first-hand sources and where not possible information is found by taking multiple second-hand sources. It is not possible for anyone to guarantee perfect historical accuracy, but I do my absolute best to ensure that all information in my videos is well sourced and backed up by historical sources and evidence.
