Hey! To start this decade right, we believe Newgrounds should be ad-free for EVERYONE. For this to work, we need people who have the means to become paying supporters. For just $3 per month or $25 for the year, you can help this happen and get some nice perks!

For the month of January we have disabled ads on all E-M content. We need 199 people to reach our January goal of 3,000 active supporters. If we hit that, we'll continue with a new goal in February!

Please check out our Supporter Upgrade and consider coming aboard!

HOW TO PLAY :

You control the Grand Ant Cabaret, preparing a show for your Queen. But Termites have infiltrated your ranks : you must remove them before the Queen arrives !

At the start of each round, 3 new Termites will be added to your crowd of Ants, which will shuffle and show your their heads. Remember the Red-Headed Termites positions !

During the dance, you can move a spotlight around with your mouse.

Use your LEFT MOUSE BUTTON to stop the spotlight anywhere. The spotlight will stop by itself after 15 seconds if you do not click. The spotlight's range will diminish overtime, so take decisions quickly !

After the Spotlight has stopped, a hole will be dug underneath, swallowing any Ant of Termite above it. You must kill as many Termites as possible, while sacrificing as little Ants as you can !

At the end of each round your score is calculated. You lose 2 points per Ant sacrificed, and gain 25 per Termite killed.

At the end of the game all of your round's scores will be added together, and you will suffer a malus for each remaining Termite.

Will the Queen appreciate your work ? Find out !

so cute

The tutorial should absolutely not count towards your final score. If you don't immediately understand the spotlight mechanic, you can penalize yourself so severely that not even a perfect run can save you.

Beyond that, good game.

At first i was a bit confuse by the game. Got a grip of it tho

It's annoying killing like forty ants in the tutorial because I didn't know that a large light sacrifices ants and I didn't know if my score of negative seventy-nine was going to reset. It's annoying to know where a termite is and have to just sit there and stare at the headache-inducing dancing waiting for the light to get small enough that you aren't sacrificing points. It's annoying that no matter what, at the smallest light setting you still lose 8 ants every time. I cant tell you any more because I stopped playing there.

Edit: I don't want to be disrespectful about it, because I absolutely respect what you are doing and I encourage you to continue doing it. That was just kind of...a raw and unfiltered log of my emotional experience playing the game.

This was a pretty fun time killer puzzle game (my best score was: 79)

Thank you ! Well played !
